FAQ

Q: How long have you been making bath products?

A: Ever since December 2020, though I didn't start selling until January 2021. I had to perfect my recipes.

-----

Q: Why otaku themed bath products?

A: Because I am the biggest anime nerd! I've been an otaku since I was nine years old (am now 31) and I love finding new ways to connect with the people in this awesome community.

-----

Q: Are your products good for my skin?

A: Yes! The all natural shea butter and kaolin clay, as well as the vitamin E and coconut oils, are all excellent for softening, brightening, and nurishing skin.

-----

Q: Will these products irritate my skin?

A: All of the ingredients in my products are carefully selected with sensitive skin in mind, as I have sensitive skin myself! Every skin is different, however, so I strongly suggest reading my ingredient list attentively before purchasing.

-----

Q: Will any of these products stain my bath tub?

A: I only use colorants made specifically for soap. That said, heavily pigmented prodiucts, such as bath bombs and salt soaks, will sometimes leave color residue behind. Clean up should be very easy, however, due to the intended purpose of these types of pigments.

-----

Q: Are your bath bombs one size only?

A: Yes. My bath bombs are large 80MM size spheres. Alternate sizes and shapes are only available via custom orders.

-----

Q: Can I request a custom bath bomb or product?

A: You absolutely can! Please note that custom products are more expensive due to possibly having to purchase materials I may not alreadyhave. See the "custom orders" page for the order form!

-----

Q: Where do you ship to?

A: At the moment, I only ship to the US, Canada, France, Mexico, and the UK. Please be aware that international orders can only be placed VIA EMAIL. Thank you!

-----

Q: How do you decorate the bath bombs?

A: I use a mixture of soap coloring powder and rubbing alcohol. I then hand paint some of my character bombs with fine details. For others, I use either cosmetic glitter or organic flowers.

-----

Q: How do you accept payment?

A: I accept payment via PayPal and Stripe. I formerly used CashApp, as well, but they proved a bit problematic, so now it's PayPal and Stripe full time.

-----

Q: My whipped bodywash is runny! What do I do?

A: Don't panic! These are heat-sensitive products and sometimes they become too soft. When this happens, simply place the product into your fridge for fifteen to twenty minutes and they will firm up again.

-----

Q: Can I use the linen/room spray on my body?

A: Yes and no. While the linen spray will not harm you, it offers no skin-related benefit and could possibly cause unwanted drying. I do not advise using it as a body mist, but it can be applied to clothing!

-----

Q: It's Spring-Summer and I want to purchase some whipped bodywash, but I can't find it. Where do I look?

A: I'm afraid that I do not sell my whipped bodywash or body-butter during the Spring and Summer months. They are seasonal items that are only available during the Fall-Winter. My apologies!

----

Q: What is an "imperfect" bath bomb?

A: In a nut shell, imperfect bombs are the bombs that don't always come out pretty during the molding and drying process. There is nothing "wrong" with the bombs; they still provide a nurishing and relaxing bath time experience. They're just oddly shaped, too soft, or missing significant chunks out of them.

----

Q: What all do I get in an "ultimate set"?

A: Ultimate sets include one standard size of each product that I currently offer. This means you get one bath bomb, one 8oz. body soak, one 8oz. body scrub, one 8oz. liquid body wash, one linen spray, one bath tea,  and one roll-on perfume. Keep in mind that some ultimate sets are larger than others and include more items.

----

Q: I'm allergic to practically everything. Scents, flowers, dyes, you name it, I'm allergic to it. What would you suggest for me?

A: I would strongly suggest that you consult your doctor before purchasing any of my products. Also, please read my ingredient list and scent descriptions CAREFULLY. The best thing for you may be to purchase a custom item that is tailored more specifically to your skin needs.

----

Q: When will my order ship?

A: Most orders placed Monday through Thrusday will ship no later than Friday. Orders placed on Friday through Sunday will follow the following week. Please be patient when it comes to shipping; I am but a single person. :3 (Also see 'Shipping Info' page for more details.)

----

Q: How long do your products last?

A: Bath products are finicky things, especially the kinds that are home made and include natural ingredients. However, when stored in the right conditions, they can last quite a while. Bath bombs can last up to three months when kept in a cool, dry place. Room sprays and perfumes last even longer. Bath teas, soaks, and scrubs have shorter self-life spans, though, so I recommend using them within seven to ten days for the best experience.

----

Q: I bought a roll-on perfume, but it turned solid! Why did that happen and what do I do?

A: Don't panic! Sometimes certain oils solidify at lower temperatures. All you need to do is warm the bottle up. You can do this by simply placing the bottle inside a room or drawer away from direct cold air, or placing the bottle inside a plastic bag (ziplock or the like) and running warm water onto the bag.

----

Q: Why doesn't the product I bought from you behave like the kind I buy at the supermarket?

A: Different ingredients, friend! Remember that my products are all homemade and not produced in bulk by a factory. Because I lean more towards the natural, my ingredients aren't always going to act those mass-produced supermarket brands. I try to keep all my products as simple and good for your skin as possible, but they might take some getting used to.

----

Q: What's the difference between salt scrub and salt soak?

A: As the names suggest, one is geared towards soaking in the tub and the other towards direct application to the skin. They both contain different ingredients that set them apart, even if they don't look all that different.

----

Q: Why do you use salt instead of sugar for your scrubs?

A: I've personally always found salt to be a better exfoliant. Additionally, people who are prone to yeast infections have much less to worry about when bathing/scrubbing with salt rather than yeast-feeding sugar. :)

----

Q: Can I use the salt scrub in the shower?

A: You sure can! Pro tip, mix a little bit of the salt scrub with your body wash or shower gel while in the shower. It helps prevent dropping the scrub before you can get it on your skin!

----

Q: What size are you perfumes?

A: All of my perfumes are oil based and come in 10ml or .33 ounce roll-on bottles.

----

Q: Why does your body wash only come in jars?

A: The whipped body wash has the texture of buttercream frosting and is a little too frickle to put into a bottle, whereas a jar allows for easier piping and removal! Note that a new, squeezable body wash formula is currently in production. :D

----

Q: Why are some room sprays clean and other are cloudy?

A: It's because of the differences of the fragrance oils. Not all fragrance oil is made the same way and, naturally, they all come from different sources. Depending on the brand, color, density, and general composition of the fragrance oil, it will look different when incorperated into room sprays. My apologies, but this is something that simply cannot be helped at times.

----

Q: Are the room sprays safe to use around pets or on pet beds?

A: I do not recommend using the room sprays around pets, on pet beds, or in pet carriers. Animals are very sensitive to many scents that we humans enjoy. These scents could possibly cause health issues for your furry friends, so please be mindful.

----

Q: I unwrapped my bath bomb and it crumbled! Why? What happened?

A: I'm very sorry! Bath bombs are finicky things and sometimes they don't set and harden properly inside their molds. I promise there is nothing wrong with the bomb, however!

----

Q: Are your salt scrubs good for body acne?

A: If you have severe body acne, I would not recommand using the scrub. Not only is it likely to sting, but the abrasiveness of the salt might aggravate the acne and cause it to spread more or scar you more deeply.
